Pushing green
“The relationship between renewable energy sources and the communities we expect to host them must be appropriate and sustainable and, above all, acceptable to local people.”
—Owen Paterson

New ideas that are in the public interest often germinate in small groups of outcasts labelled: fanatics, socialists, beatniks, religious cranks, tree huggers, libertarians and misfits.

Some ideals, like ending poverty (OCAP), promoting economic equality (communism) and world peace (peaceniks) remain dormant.

Others such as free public education, public health and transit, universal health care, municipal sewer systems and the belief in human rights became mainstream campaigns that won mass support, business investments and government funding and legislation.

Going green

When the new Big Thing™, today its "Green", leaves the fringes; the education system, the media, church groups, trade unions, business, government agencies and grass roots groups bombard the public—including the little children—with mass propaganda making it clear that anyone who opposes, or even questions the new wisdom is an enemy of progress and humanity.

I see that kind of pressure being downloaded on unsuspecting condo owners which may cause them a lot of harm and will definately cost them a lot of money.
