“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”
— Carl Sagan

Here is a copy of Channel's list of clients that he claimed to have back in 2005. Three of them were victims of mortgage fraud that was discovered in September 2011. They are:

Khan's bill for the ceramic tiles

This bill for the tiles came from Manzoor Khan's personal company. I just love how he is giving the condo a discounted price. To back up this invoice, we have the invoice he claims came from Olympia Tiles.

Forged invoice

This is the invoice that Manzoor Khan submitted for payment. It shows a 40% discount on all items.

Here is a closer view of the particulars of this forgery.
Olympia sold the tiles by the square foot.
Delivered:       25 September 2006
His discount:   $26,905.19
Final cost:        $58,237.81 (more than double the actual cost)

The actual invoice

Here is a copy of the actual invoice.
He paid cash.
Olympia sold the tiles by the piece.
Delivered:      01 October 2006
His discount:  $680   (3%)
Final cost:       $25,278.87

That is one hell of a markup. I suspect that he changed the delivery date on the forgery so he would get paid a month earlier.
